Derelict and abandoned in a field in Bordeaux, our beautiful Cheese Van was brought back to life with no budget but plenty of time and passion.

She was used to establish 'The Cheese Box' by travelling around promoting and selling British Cheese, originally in London and then in Kent and bringing the range and variety of British Farmhouse cheeses avalible to peoples attention at a local street level on a weekly basis.

Many customers still refer to us as “the people with the cheese van!”

Now in Kent we take her to local markets like Faversham, Herne Bay and before we started the shop, Whitstable, heritage events, food shows, openings, and events like Lounge on the Farm, near Canterbury (where we sold Kentish Ploughman's lunches with Ashmore cheese).

She is even a bit of a film star in her own right (having been hired for films)!

She can be booked for events - large or small (not just food related) and definitely gets attention wherever she goes
